Yes to the 5 of you people who actually look at this thing... I'm still alive. I know it been a really long while since I actually posted something that might be worth looking at. So here you go, I started this when I was watching Casshern Sin (kinda lost the mood to finish after it ended). But I decided to acquire the insert song that got me in the mood to start this and have been listening to it on repeat for like an hour now while working on this. It's still not finished but honestly I kinda like it unfinished and all sloppy. But you decide cause I'm want to finish it but not sure if I want to at the same time.

So after thinking it over for a while I decided to just finish it. My opinion it looks a lot better this way. This is more my style I guess.

Usually when I sketch something, I always think to myself "why even bother?". But today I thought "that looks OK, needs a whole lot of work but it looks OK"

 I love using a cintiq it is awesome. Even with this post I'm writing it with the cintiq I believe I'm in love with Wacom. So here are few more Loomis sketches. They seem to be making me a better artist already; and I'm still not finished with the head portion.

Man it has been too long with no post so this one will be a dump of stuff I've been doing from the Andrew Loomis pdf. The first 50 pgs. are of how to draw heads but I must admit it is fun to draw. So anyways back to my mission to relearn everything I ever knew about drawing, Loomis style.

For some reason the Blogger app on my phone is stuck trying to publish a post I wanted to make during my lunch break. So I just redid it (quickly) in CS5, then started doing some practice sketching now I'm tired and have to work again tomorrow. I hate having to work the whole weekend

Seems my subconscious was in a generous mood today but not generous enough for me. The first guy looks smaller than the second guy (I draw from right to left) but I guess I could fix that with a little perspective.And for some reason my phone's camera decided to have a blue tent today, maybe just the lighting.

So it seems like a today was a good day for art. Especially when you have chili cheese fries from Baker's. Then they gave 2 regular fries for free!! :O So anyway I just finished the color for it, and yes Moises I decided to go with a 30% grey instead of 10%; it was to light so I needed to make it darker. But I still like what I see.

Alright so some how I thought I lost this pic but I found it yesterday and decided to finish it. But somehow I feel as if there are key details missing. But I don't think I'll figure it out if I keep staring at it so take a break and on to the next one.

Mos Def- Thug Is A Drug

I know I neglected to post anything last week but oh well. No seriously though The concept I did last week was horrible I hate it. But This character is coming a long nicely the 1st concept kinda reminds me of Ibuki, But now I'm thinking of doing something more FFX-2 inspired the second concept kinda looked like something Paine would be wearing. I'm not gonna post it cause it's almost a dead match for what Paine wears in the game.

So I go outside to smoke a cigarette and as I look at the sky the clouds seem so much closer and then an enormous heavy rain cloud slowly rolls over my house. As this was happening I thought 'How beautifully ominous this feels'.


Anyway I have settled on a possible toga design, I actually like this better than the armor but as said before I should get more refs for the armor before I decide. But the day is over and I'm all drawn out and the rule stays the same finished or not start the next character after a week has passed

Welp, I got more concepts done for thins character than I did for the last. Managed to narrow it down to two concepts on with armor and one with dressed in a toga. Need to get more reference for the toga it's not what I want it to look like, and more reference for armor wouldn't hurt me either. But for the last day for this one I'll work on the toga and see what happens

Wow a new blog. what happen to the old one Why a new one? you ask, cause it's a long story and the ending still hasn't been written yet.

The concepts of the characters I didn't get to work on the male to much. I blame 6 days of work and over time. But sticking to my promise to myself by working on a new character of the story every week, I have moved on to the next today. Any that I don't finish with in a week I'll just get back to them. I'll start with simple designs then if I like how they are looking I make them more detailed.
